The Rural Health Association of Utah (RHAU) is excited to welcome Tracy Braithwaite as the new student representative on its Board of Directors. A lifelong advocate for rural healthcare, Tracy brings extensive experience in emergency medical services and is currently pursuing his Physician Assistant degree at the University of Utah’s St. George campus. His commitment to serving rural communities makes him a valuable voice in shaping the future of Utah’s healthcare workforce.

On May 30, 2025, the Rural Health Association of Utah (RHAU) announced leadership changes following Vice President Phillip Estes’s departure. Dr. Laura Rosch, a seasoned physician and academic, joins the Board of Directors, while Dr. Melissa Hinton, a dedicated board member and rural nursing advocate, steps into the Vice President role. RHAU expressed gratitude to Estes and optimism about the new appointments.
