RHAU Welcomes Natalie Knudson as Data & Finance Manager

ST. GEORGE, Utah — October 5, 2026 — The Rural Health Association of Utah (RHAU) is pleased to welcome Natalie Knudson as its new Data & Finance Manager, adding significant finance, accounting, analytics, and business operations experience to the organization as RHAU continues to grow and expand its impact across rural Utah.
Natalie brings more than 10 years of experience working in finance, accounting, analytics, and business operations, with a particular focus on building systems and processes that help growing organizations operate more effectively. Throughout her career, she has worked in fast-paced environments where she has developed financial processes, reporting systems, and data structures that provide leadership with the information needed to make informed decisions.
Prior to joining RHAU, Natalie served in Controller and finance leadership roles in the residential solar industry. In those roles, she managed financial reporting, cash flow, forecasting, job costing, accounting operations, and executive reporting for a rapidly growing organization. She also developed a company-wide data analytics structure that connected information across departments and systems, creating greater visibility into organizational performance and helping leadership better understand and use organizational data.
“Natalie brings exactly the combination of skills RHAU needs as we continue to grow,” said Kasey Shakespear, Executive Director of RHAU. “We have reached a point where strong financial management, reliable data, and effective systems are essential to our ability to take on larger projects and maximize the opportunities in front of us. Natalie’s ability to bring structure to complex information and turn it into useful tools will be incredibly valuable to RHAU.”
Natalie is particularly passionate about bringing together finance, data, and technology to make organizations more efficient and effective. She enjoys taking complex information, creating structure around it, and turning it into tools that help teams understand what is happening and make better decisions.
In her new role, Natalie will support RHAU’s financial management, grant reporting, data systems, and operational analytics. She will also play an important role in building the organizational infrastructure needed to support RHAU’s continued growth and strengthen its ability to serve rural healthcare organizations and communities across Utah.
“I’m really excited to be joining RHAU and to have the opportunity to bring together the things I enjoy most about my work: finance, data, technology, and building better systems,” said Knudson. “I love taking something that feels complicated or disconnected and creating structure that helps people understand it and use it to make better decisions. I’m looking forward to applying that approach at RHAU and helping build the systems and infrastructure that support its continued growth and mission across rural Utah.”
Natalie holds an MBA and brings a hands-on, systems-oriented approach to her work. Outside of RHAU, she enjoys hiking, traveling, exploring new places, and spending time with friends and family. She is always looking for her next adventure and is happiest when she can combine travel with the outdoors.
RHAU is Utah’s State Rural Health Association and “The Voice of Rural Utah.” Through advocacy, education, collaboration, technical assistance, and other initiatives, RHAU works to strengthen healthcare and improve health outcomes in rural communities across the state.
