University of Utah Mobile Dental Clinic

University of Utah School of Dentistry operates a Mobile Dental Clinic to provide access to oral health for individuals in rural Utah. Their program is funded through the Utah Department of Health and Human Service’s Primary Care Grant, and generous donors. They use Health Professional Shortage Area designations to select sites where there is a shortage of dentists. They serve patients with low-income who are uninsured or underinsured to help fill a gap in safety net dental care in these areas.
