The Rural Health Association of Utah (RHAU) has received two grants totaling $35,000 from the National Rural Health Association to strengthen its capacity in advocacy and healthy aging. The funding will support expanded advocacy efforts during the 2026 Utah Legislative Session and position RHAU as a statewide convener for Age-Friendly initiatives, including coordination around the Rural Health Transformation Program and an Age-Friendly pre-conference workshop at the 2026 RHAU

January 5, 2026 | St. George, Utah — The Rural Health Association of Utah (RHAU) is pleased to announce that Dr. Matt McCullough has officially assumed the role of RHAU Board President, beginning his two-year term effective January 1, 2026. Kurt Loveless will transition into a one-year term as Immediate Past President and will continue to serve on RHAU’s Executive Committee. Reflecting on the leadership transition, Loveless shared, “My strengths and resilience were well suite
