Rural Health Access for Veterans Webinar

RHAU is pleased to celebrate this Veteran's Day with a special webinar presentation on Rural Health Access for Veterans, featuring Jen Morgan, COVER to COVER Program Manager at the Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice, and Janeil Esplin, Veterans Service Office (VSO), Social Worker, and Veterans Advocate with the Five County Area Agency on Aging. 

Since 2013, Jen Morgan and Janeil Esplin have been collaborating with the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center to help rural Veterans enroll in VA Healthcare and help to navigate the VA system. The first step is getting rural Veterans enrolled in VA Healthcare to tap into expanded benefits and services. 

In this webinar, they will highlight the VA structure, how Veterans can get enrolled in VA Healthcare and how to access VA Health Clinics and VA Community Care. Through the COVER to COVER program's expertise, providers will gain new resources and local contacts to support their rural Veteran clients.
