2022 RHAU Conference: "Getting Back to Thriving."

The Rural Health Association of Utah 2021 Conference is designed to bring together individuals from around the state to discuss matters facing Utah's rural and/or underrepresented communities, and how we can use that knowledge and experience to lift rural Utah communities moving forward.

 

The theme of this conference was “Getting Back to Thriving”. We felt this theme appropriate after the long years and ongoing challenges of the COVID pandemic. Many individuals and organizations gave so much for an extended time. Not only do we say thank you, but we hope that everyone can now recuperate, get back to a semblance of normalcy and continue to thrive in Healthcare. 

This was an exciting event with an amazing lineup of speakers covering topics such as community health workers, the challenges facing Utah's rural communities, cancer prevention in rural populations, health equity and literacy, information fatigue, and more. All panelists were chosen for their expertise as well as their ability to teach and listen.

This event was held on December 1, 2022, at Utah Tech University, and bring your experience and knowledge to the table as we work together to get back to thriving.
